We know there’s nothing better than Christmas shopping to get you in the festive spirit. We also understand that Christmas gifts aren’t always quite right, so we’re giving you a little extra time to return them. Our Christmas returns policy means you can return eligible items after Christmas and into the New Year.
Our extended Christmas returns period
In addition to our standard returns policy, items ordered online or purchased in a Next store† between Friday 23rd October 2026 and Friday 25th December 2026 can be returned after Christmas and up to and including Tuesday 5th January 2027.
Eligible returns will receive a full refund to the original payment method.

What if I return something before Christmas?
Any items returned on or before Thursday 24th December 2026 are subject to our Standard Returns Policy. If you have any questions or unique circumstances, please get in touch with us, by using one of the contact methods here.
What happens if I return my item after 5th January?
Any items returned after Tuesday 5th January 2027 will be subject to our Standard Returns Policy.
Returning a gift?
If you’ve received a gift that isn’t quite right, don’t worry — simply bring it into one of our Next stores.
We’ll be happy to offer you either an exchange or a refund card for the value of the returned item.
Before you return
Just make sure your unwanted gifts are unused, in the original packaging (if appropriate) and still have the tags attached. If you’re returning an item bought in store please bring proof of purchase.
