HOW CAN I MAKE A PAYMENT?
There are various ways you can make a payment to your account designed to suit you.
Direct Debit

It can take up to 14 days to set up your Direct Debit. You will receive confirmation in the post of the Direct Debit details you have given us. Until your Direct Debit has been set up and is visible on your statement, you must continue to pay your minimum payment by the due date using an alternative method of payment. We will notify you if your Direct Debit is declined, or is unsuccessful. We will collect the minimum payment, the full balance, or a fixed amount each month, as instructed by you when you set up your Direct Debit. We will do this regardless of any other payments in addition to this you may make on your account. However, if any additional payments by you reduce the balance of your account below the minimum payment required, we will take only that balance. If the fixed amount you choose is ever less than your minimum payment, the minimum payment will be taken. Once set up, your Direct Debit will retrieve payment from your bank/building society on, or within 3 days of the payment date quoted on your statement from us. You'll know your Direct Debit has been set up as a message will appear on your statement, similar to the below: Nextpay: Pay in 3 by Next: As we are unable to amend the date your direct debit is collected, you may wish to set up a standing order with your bank/building society as this can be set on a specific date. To edit, set up or cancel your Direct Debit simply log into ‘My Account’ and select 'Manage Your Direct Debit'. Online via ‘My Account’ |
Online payments will take up to 30 minutes to be applied to your account. To pay some or all of your account balance online, follow these steps:
We accept Apple Pay, Google Pay in addition to all major credit and debit cards such as Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro and American Express. The card must be registered to the address where your Next Account is held. We are unable to accept cards that are due to expire within the next 5 days. Card details are checked and verified by a third party and goods are dispatched once authorisation has been obtained. Please note some customers may have issues when making a payment using a new card on an iOS device version 10-14. Other payment methods will work fine. In the ‘Payments’ section, you will also have the option ‘manage saved cards’. This will show all saved cards on your account. Here you will have the option to add, edit or delete your saved card. |
Selfserve |
Selfserve payments will take up to 30 minutes to be applied to your account. If you are a NextPay customer, call free on 0800 58 777 58* and key in your SelfServe number (as shown on your delivery note). Enter the amount you wish to pay and your credit/debit card details. Alternatively, call us on 0333 777 8000* and we’ll take your payment over the phone. If you have a Pay in 3 account, please call us on 0333 777 8174* to make a payment or alternatively pay online. |
Telephone / Internet Banking

Telephone / Internet Banking payments will take 3 working days to be applied to your account. Account Name: NEXT PLC Bank Account Number: 48917958 Sort Code: 60-00-01 Reference: Your Customer Number Your customer number can be found on top of your Next statement, delivery note or any correspondence received from Next. On most online banking services you will already find Next has been set up as a payee. Please ensure you quote your customer number. If you are abroad and not paying in GBP (Great British Pounds) then please use a currency converter to ensure you do not under or overpay. There may be a charge for this service, so it is advisable that you check this with your bank before making the transaction. |
Next Giftcard / eVoucher

Next Giftcard & eVoucher payments will instantly be applied to your account. We accept payment by Next Gift Card and eVoucher via SelfServe and by signing in to My Account and selecting ‘giftcard payment’ under the account options menu. For nextpay accounts, we are unable to accept gift voucher payments online. To pay by gift voucher please write your customer number on the reverse of the gift voucher and keep a note of the serial number. Paypal

Paypal payments will instantly be applied to your account. PayPal is a secure payment method you can use to make a payment online. You only need your email address and password to make a payment. At the moment this facility is only available for UK nextpay accounts and you can choose this method of payment to pay your account balance or to make a payment at the time of your order. You can use PayPal by following these steps:
PayPal payments credit the account within 2 working days and you will receive an email to confirm the payment. If for any reason the payment has been declined, an immediate message will be displayed on the PayPal payment page to indicate this. If there are any queries you may need to contact PayPal for further assistance. If the payment does not show on your nextpay account within 2 working days, please check if the amount has been taken from your PayPal account. If you require a refund for a return you have made, you can email us using our contact form. On the contact form select ‘Next Directory/Online’, then ‘Other’. Alternatively, if you would like to chat with an advisor please click here. If you have an email address registered on your account, you will receive a payment confirmation through email once your payment has credited your account. All payments need to be made before 8pm to show in the time specified. Any payments made after 8pm Friday will show on your account the following Tuesday.

Balance Transfer
How can I complete a Balance Transfer with Next?
Should you wish to transfer the balance of your nextpay account to another lender then you will need to make a payment to our Natwest bank account. You will need to quote your customer account number in order to ensure that the payment is applied to your account correctly. Please DO NOT use the 16 digit number found on your nextpay storecard.

Next Store |
You can pay at the till point in one of our stores. A member of our staff will take your account number or swipe your nextpay card (if available) and then process the payment. Please retain your receipt. Nextpay cards and refund cards cannot be used as payment. Available in UK Next stores, except airport stores. |

This will take 3 working days to be applied to your account. Take your posted Next statement to any bank and pay over the counter. Some banks may charge for this service. |
Payzone Outlet |
This will take up to 3 working days to be applied to your account Pay in 3 customers are currently unable to pay at a Payzone outlet. Nextpay customers can take their statement to any Payzone Outlet and pay at the till point. The Sales Assistant will scan the barcode on the front of your statement to process the payment. Please note that the Payzone Outlets can only accept cash payments.
